Read moreThis beach is gorgeous. There is two places to walk down. One is a 1 km hike in, or one is a five minute walk. The five minute walk is great for older people or if you have a huge group. If the tide is out, you see big beautiful sand bars that you can set up camp for a couple hours. It’s huge, so you can have a to. Of people there on a busy weekend and not feel too crowded. Also, it doesn’t seem to attract a ton of tourists either. Lots of the people that go there are locals. It’s a must see.
Note: the Park doesn’t allow dogs during peak season. I have a 12 year old chocolate lab, and I brought him down. Everything was fine. I’m assuming they just don’t want it turning into a dog park and ruining it for...

Further down the beach past the washrooms to the right is where you go if you like to bare all and even out your tan! I’ve done the treck from the parking lot through the park, it is stunning and I highly suggest it if you have the time it takes about 30 mins at a leisurely pace.
