For those who love flowers, being close to nature, and enjoying summer with different activities, this is the best time of year to see the lavender and visit Kelso Farm.
Getting there is very simple, and they have good parking facilities: the spaces are open-air, unprotected, and there are no designated parking spaces, but there is a staff member who will guide you where to park. The parking lot is paved with stones, so it can be quite difficult for guests using wheelchairs or walkers to navigate.
The farm costs $10 Canadian dollars, and children under 4 are free. There is no time limit on how long you can stay at the farm, but on average, you can see the entire field and take photos in about 40 minutes.
The farm has several species of lavender, and right at the entrance, there is a sign with the names of each species and how to care for them.
Within the field, there are many photo spots, and if you want to pick lavender, there's an additional fee.
The farm has a souvenir area with lavender, lavender products, water and soft drinks, and delicious lavender ice cream (don't leave without trying it).
There are two portable restrooms for visitors, one for men and one for women. There are no restrooms for visitors with disabilities, and the farm itself doesn't accommodate these visitors. I believe it's worth considering an entrance structure that accommodates everyone in the coming years.
The place is beautiful, and I thought the visit was well worth it, and I'll definitely be back to take...
Read moreI will rate this attraction average since there are not much to see ? A plain purple , single color lavenda field.
I am looking for more props for photo which Is not available, no explanation about the farm! Only a few chairs, a carriage , a piano for props.
Definitely hard to justify the $18 per person and the long haul to get there . A family of 4 cost $72! May be it is better to go Main Street on Unionville , flowers are a bid more varieties and you can spend $18 for an ice cream plus coffee entree.
To response to the feedback of the owner : We have a group of 7 and no one enjoy the experience , you have 6 people at the entrance and your focus on the technology ! Not the customer’s experience !!! On a hot summer day , you have not even considered cold water for customers! Niagara Falls lavenda farm even offer cookies as a treat !!!
On top, my friend explained you penalty us 30% of the ticket , so 18x 7x 30% = $37.80 plus HST because we booked Sunday and arrive Sat. You have a legitimate reason since you need to rebook the group one day earlier ! But you certainly have not consider customer’s experience. The farm is not getting the product sales. Our last visit to Niagara Falls , our guests from overseas spent over $1000 for souvenirs .
My conclusion Technology does not enhance client experience ! Having 6 people standing around , you might consider to use the resources to improve the client experience ! Small family need to use the resources...

The setting is undeniably pretty, with rows of lavender and a handful of props clearly designed for Instagram-worthy photos. But be prepared: admission is nearly $20 per person, which feels steep for what you actually get.
The experience is mostly about wandering the fields and snapping photos. If that’s your thing, you’ll get some nice shots, but it’s hard to justify the price when you realize it’s more expensive than taking the family out for burgers. The lavender ice cream is a highlight—it’s delicious, though at $6 a scoop, it’s definitely a splurge. You can also cut your own small bunch of lavender for $10, which is fun, but again, not exactly a bargain.
The shop is full of cute lavender products, but the prices are on the high side. It’s clear that a lot of effort goes into the branding and presentation, but you’re paying for the aesthetic as much as the actual goods.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly family outing, this might not be it. The farm is lovely, but the cost adds up quickly, especially for larger groups. If your main goal is to get some pretty pictures and you don’t mind the price tag, you’ll probably enjoy it—but if you’re watching your wallet, you might want to...
