Silverdale Creek Wetlands — Attraction in Mission

The park is new and will be lovely when all the new bushes and plants fill in.

Very short walk but ènjoyable. Saw geese, ducks, and a few varied birds.

What I didn't enjoy was the noise. It was over the top at times... you can have a helicopter above, a train going by (even honking horn) and the highway directly beside this park. For this, I found it hard to enjoy.

When the train sounded it's horn the ducks were startled and the birds flew. I guess with time, the animals will get used to the noise and that's unfortunate.

It is great the land is protected and developed into something lovely.... however, I did not find it peaceful, tranquil, or calm. The noise killed its possible ambiance, for me.

A lovely little place for a leisurely stroll. It's mostly flat ground with the exception of one small incline; perfect for my toddler to roam around & burn some energy. I stay at this hotel for about a month every year. I and there for work and it is centrally located to ask the places I have to be.
