Large woods with spots that flood in early spring or after heavy rain. Good unpaved dirt trails to walk, lots of bird activity, especially along the east side. Jefferson's Salamanders are known to reside here and come out every March/April. The woods are peaceful except the northernmost 50 feet which is close to South Service Road and the QEW. Access paths off of South Service Road, multiple dead end streets to the west of Northmount Avenue, the school yard of Cawthra Park Secondary School and Cawthra Road. Parking off Cawthra Road at the Blythe Academy (tiny private school), south of South Service Road. Awesome place to walk your dogs and feel like you're far from the city.
