Absolutely great to get well away from the city. Downside you don't get away from the hoards of people.
I bet it's really something in winter especially in the ski season.

I obviously visited on the wrong day as by the time I got to the top, the peak was covered in thick fog. So much so it was easy to get Los in about 1 metre visibility, as you don't have any reference points.
There is limited food and drink available at the top as well as other facilities.
Definitely a plus having free parking at the bottom in Tremblant, also various shops, although many orientated towards outdoor and ski clothing.
If you don't want to climb up the mountain, well it's worth having a walk...
Read moreI visited during the winter, at the beginning of the year (January). It was fenced off permanently and closed off, I'm assuming because it was dangerous when it was icy and slippery. We hopped the plywood that stopped people from going onto the observation tower, and stayed on the first level. The view was beautiful and I recommend going to see it. Just the hike up was nice though quite a trek. It was also nice being there by ourselves, it felt like we were not in a ski resort...
