You have to next to the boardwalk for this lighthouse. There are signs, P1 and P2. Make sure you don't go down the lighthouse road and park in one of these spots and walk on the boardwalk. You can't go inside the lighthouse but it's a nice little walk. If it's near you I wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're already up here definitely stop.

This lighthouse is off the beaten path. You cannot park close by so you will have to walk a boardwalk or a dirt road to get there from the street. A nice setting and the surrounding town is a quaint fishing village with a somewhat rickety wooden bridge you precariously drive over to get close to the lighthouse. Very pretty area.

A rustic gem that you can drive right up to... a beautiful piece of history. We stopped here on our way to the East Point Lighthouse and I’m glad we pulled in. No one else was around so we could take in the scenery without disturbances. I recommend that you take the time to pull off the road and experience this piece of history.

This was a really cool experience.

Little difficult to locate the parking. I saw plenty of people drive down the "road" but is actually someone's driveway. Park on the RIGHT side of the boardwalk, there's a small sign.

I noticed a lot of people go for a few minutes then leave but I found the peace and quiet, sound of the ocean and the breeze to be amazing. Stop for more than just a moment and enjoy life.

There are paths in the grass that lead along the ocean away from the lighthouse that I assume is private property but it appears to be maintained by someone (thank you) and there are no signs stating to keep out. I'd say just be respectful.

I got some really nice drone shots here I will upload when I...

The lighthouse was nice to see. The kids loved it. The best part of our stop here, however, was the deserted beach on the other side of the fishing harbour. We had our puppy with us, and had been prevented from taking him on the beach at the national park, so when a guy told us about the beach at Shipwreck Point, we decided to check it out. Free parking for the beach, and nobody on it (sunny August day . . .). The dog loved it, as did we all! Great swimming but a little rough for small kids. Shallow water...
