Quiet beach with not many people, but water is very dirty and full of pebbles, and bugs, washrooms are dirty. The sand part of the beach seems like it does get raked which removes the rocks from the drier sand. Washrooms are fairly dirty but do have running water, mirrors, toilets and sinks. If you camp overnight you can pay a $10 deposit for a key to the other shared washrooms which have showers and are kept cleaner than the public washrooms. You do need to pay a toll to park if you don't have a provincial park pass. The beach has a board walk but doesn't really have a restaurant to buy food from.

It's very clean laid-back and family oriented. Have a great Beach and Boardwalk. Rates are reasonable. Staff is Pleasant. They have a lot of events on weekends and long weekends that are cost-efficient! Close to town for shopping. All-round nice place! Negatives no internet and no laundry facilities but besides that great place!

Clean and clear water. There are many areas where you can spread a blanket and picnic. Mostly shady around the sand. Free loan of life vest. Kayaking available for $10/hr. There's an floatie slide in the middle of the water. This is really very good for family outings!

My husband and I went on a nice Sunday cruise, and wanted to drive through the beach area. We were told we had to pay to enter, this caught us off-guard as we've been here many times and if we're not using their facilities they've never charges us before. I guess since they no longer allow boats with motors on the lake, they need to receive funds...
