The museum is an astonishingly comprehensive collection of materiel, artefacts and knowledge about the role of the Royal Canadian Artillery in building the reputation of Canada and serving honorable causes from the pre-confederation period to the present. The displays are so engaging and very captivating. The staff are highly knowledgeable and very friendly, offering up insights that make it such a wonderful place to visit. Went to Spruce woods for a little couple day camping trip with the bf and we wanted to explore a little bit of the towns in the area as well! We headed over to Shilo as he wanted to check out the Military museum and I will tell you one thing…we were NOT disappointed! Absolutely amazing staff, lots of history and lots of information on stuff! Some stuff I didn’t even know about as well so it was great to read up on it! Unfortunately we came a little later!
