I trekked up there and it's like being in the presence of history. The lighthouse has been standing strong since 1897, a beacon for passing ships. The Heritage Lighthouse is at the tip of the Island and there is a trail leading up to it. Some of the hikers we met said they saw snakes and that we should stay on the trail.
