Great beach, although I didn't see too much of the sand dunes. The boardwalk is a gorgeous setup, with stairs along it that lead to the beach. The beach itself is great during lowtide. You can see jellyfish, silver foxes, hermit crabs, seashells, and starfish. The water is actually not as cold as I thought it would be, just be cautious because I heard there are high rates of e coli here at the moment, so be sure to shower asap after swimming. Parking is on the left side of where google maps takes you (there will be signs so don't worry). Don't confuse with to the right which is a drop off area only.
Washrooms are unavilable after a certain time with the nearest gas station being 7 kms. There is a septic washroom near the parking area but I would default to the forest...
