Amazing!!!! We came during off season. We had no issues even with it fully closed for the winter. Parked at the closed gate and walked down. The visitor center look pretty but it was closed for the season.
It was a TAD confusing at first because were the visitor center is- you arent at that “iconic” cliff spot. So facing the water, go left. Follow the trails. We found the spot with the steps down- they pull them up off season for safety. Makes sense this is dangerous nature.
We kept venturing down the trails to were the buses drop folks off and all the picnic benches/canoe grounds are and you can clearly have access to the ocean grounds with no steps needed in this area.
