We stayed in a tent for one night and a rustic cabin for 3 nights. We had a great time there. I love the campground and the beach is amazing.

We had a serviced site for the tent and when we went to use the plug...we found out that we couldn't as it wasnt a regular plug. Thankfully the office does have adapters that you can use for a refundable deposit of $30.00.

The rustic cabin was great. There is an outlet inside and outside. There is a light inside as well as a picnic table. For the beds, there are 2 double flats on the bottom and 2 single flats above. You will need to being your own mattress. There is an outdoor grill that is charcoal, a picnic table and fire pit.

There are water taps throughout the grounds as well as dump sites and garbage bins.....the usual stuff. I found the washrooms and showers clean...water pressure in the shower was great. Due to Covid-19 the campsite wasnt completely packed with people but there was a good amount of campers coming and going which made it easy to have hot water!! Woo hoo!!!

Loved all the little critters that visited as well.....most amusing and enjoyable to watch.

The only complaint(s) we would have would be that the bed areas of the cabin wasnt cleaned off well enough as there was dirt and popcorn left there. The firewood was wet which made it hard to get the fire started and keep it going. They dont allow you to bring your own firewood.

Love New River Camping and will return in the future. A most...

This is specifically about the campsite, the area is beautiful! Coming from Ontario - we are huge Ontario Parks fans! We typically like a spaced out and private site. Arriving to our first provincial park and our first time in New Brunswick, New River Beach, we were excited to stay along the Bay of Fundy. We knew we were not secluded but did not expect to be so open!

We sadly did not like our site as it was extremely small, exposed and along the highway. The site made it as though it was not that close and more secluded. The fire pit is half the size of an Ontario Park pit which was disappointing. There was a fire ban as well. It was busy which was great but it was also very quiet and people did not seem the friendliest. Either way, it’s a campsite and straightforward but if you like privacy, a big site and pit as well kind people when you pass by, this may not be the place for you. The washrooms with showers were warm and clean!

We left the site to stay at a near by motel! Happily, due to slightly cold temperatures and...

Great and clean spot! We had a late check in (10:50pm) with our rv camper. She welcomed us and gave us a map showing which spot was ours. We stayed in 45 😊 close to bathrooms, dumping and water. The other campers are nice and some are very decorative! So awesome! The bathrooms are clean, shower worked great and had hot water at 9:30am, no line up, on Canada day lol. We have 3 dogs also and it was not an issue! Woohooo! We packed up and cleaned our spot (super easy!) and pulled out. Check out was great. It was $34 for site with electrical. Great deal. I wanted to tip because we know with covid people are a bit on edge, and more cleaning has to be done, plus the landscaping is so beautiful. Unfortunately they aren’t allowed to accept so I’m giving them a 5 star and a definitely be back with more customers!! Thanks again gang for you excellent customer service! Happy...

When we got to our campsite there was crab shells all over on one side from someone's meal. Trash on the ground and picnic table. big pieces of trash in the woods. Foil and trash in the fire pit. I called the office and the young girl who answered the phone had no concern/no apology. She just kept asking if we checked in before check in even though I told her twice we had just got there at 6pm. after I made sure I didn't need to worry about bears I ended the call. Then as we were setting up the tent I kept smelling something fishy. Well it turns out someone had dumped something in the fire pit. I called the office and again the girl had little concern. I asked for someone to come clean the fire pit. The 2 older gentleman who showed up were nice so the 2 stars are for them. Bathroom was just cleaned which was nice but a wet floor sign is needed.
