We came in on Monday August 12th on a free admission day. We saw a note on the door that said "Ring bell after entering, staff is in attic..." We rang the bell twice AND used the bathroom and no one came down to greet us, unfortunately. My partner even yelled "hello?" Up the attic staircase and no one responded. Not sure what was going on there.....overall wasn't...

Very informative young guide brings history to life in this hidden gem of a museum. Wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy day. We stopped here on way to Halifax and enjoyed their delicious tea served...
