It is beautiful and all but visiting people should refrain from littering all over the place especially near the beach area. If you bring stuff with you, then please take your garbage back with you or discard in waste receptacles provided; it is a very simple task and it helps keep the natural environment of the park maintained. Also "No personal BBQ allowed in any public parks in Oakville", many piles of burnt ash visible all over the place and No Cooking permitted here as per the by-law. Sadly this park has changed a lot in last 2 decades I have been seeing it, sad but true, most trees are gone, none replaced with new ones and new renovations/development within the park appears artificial not natural as it used to be. Change it fine, but the town should maintain its natural environment as much as possible.

Went on summer weekend, place was crowded. Maybe due to multiple events, I would recommend to book the picnic area if you plan to have a large group or a party. The rocks on the beach with beautiful blue backdrop of Lake Ontario and Sky makes for a good background for pictures. There are considerable waves on this beach. I would not recommend swimming for beginners. There are washrooms, splash pad, play area and picnic area. There is no direct bus to the park but you can walk 10 mins to the park

What a beautiful place for a family picnic. There is ample parking and gorgeous views. A place which one could visit again and again. Do stop and admire the ancient Weeping Willows...they are probably 200-300 years old.

Coronation park is our favorite park so far. it is spacious. playground and splash pad for kids. boating biking and team games event for adults. there are good number of picnic tables and benches. there is also washroom though it is not that clean. huge garbage container are visible in the area so there is no excuse for littering. there are also pretty decent parking area...
