It is beautiful and all but visiting people should refrain from littering all over the place especially near the beach area. If you bring stuff with you, then please take your garbage back with you or discard in waste receptacles provided; it is a very simple task and it helps keep the natural environment of the park maintained. Also "No personal BBQ allowed in any public parks in Oakville", many piles of burnt ash visible all over the place and No Cooking permitted here as per the by-law. Sadly this park has changed a lot in last 2 decades I have been seeing it, sad but true, most trees are gone, none replaced with new ones and new renovations/development within the park appears artificial not natural as it used to be. Maybe due to multiple events, I would recommend to book the picnic area if you plan to have a large group or a party.
The rocks on the beach with beautiful blue backdrop of Lake Ontario and Sky makes for a good background for pictures.
There are considerable waves on this beach. I would not recommend swimming for beginners.
There are washrooms, splash pad, play area and picnic area.
