I would give 0 stars if I could. Visited Casa-Dea with a group on Saturday to try and pick out some potential wedding wine. Upon arrival we were told we would have to wait 15 mins which was fine, an employee brought out a "charcutier" board of kraft cheese and stale bread and left us to wait. 15 minutes turned into an hour and a half. When we approached the employee to ask what was going on she told us that she had already been down to the "cellar" to remind the tour guide he was running behind "but he just keeps talking". Finally we were brought into the basement where we were rushed though a tasting of wine full of fruit flies, not one or two many flies. When we told the guide he responded with "of course there are flies it's harvest season just throw it on the ground". We were brought back upstairs for "lunch" which was soup and a sandwich made of more stale bread, one piece of lettuce and one piece of ham, I've seen nicer sandwiches in childrens lunch boxes. The icing on the cake was when they brough the bill and had the nerve to charge us $30 each for them. We have informed our tour company of our horrendous experience so they can decide if they will continue to bring guests here. If it's at your own discretion I wouldn't...
Read moreWhat a terrible experience at the restaurant! I don’t even know where to begin. This was our first mini vacation of 2020 and we left Casa Dea with such disappointment. My only regret is that we didn’t leave when things started to go wrong. I kept hoping things would improve but it just kept getting worse. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait for a table but it ended up being 40 minutes. Tables sat empty while the lineup grew longer because there was nobody to clean up. Two limo drivers started helping clear tables because the waitresses couldn’t keep up. They were busy but the lack of staff is inexcusable. We were excited when we got a table but I’m glad I had wipes in my purse because it was cleaned in a haste. And then more waiting... 30 minutes for a glass of wine. Another hour for the pizza. My husband kept having to chase down the waitress who was more focused on doing Instagram videos than serving thirsty/hungry customers. When I finally received my pizza, it didn’t contain the toppings listed on the menu. I wish I could rewind this day. It was a waste of a...
Read moreI booked a lunch for a bachelorette party and it was a terrible experience. When we first got there they did not have my reservation, so they scrambled to put things together.
They only had one waitress working the whole restaurant, and there were three large groups. She seemed very stressed and overworked.
One of the people in my party were told they could not order a tasting flight, even though the table next to us had them.
The food was terrible. Pizzas barely had any toppings and were very small for the price. The "charcuterie board" was basically a children's lunch able for $30, the vegetables were dry, there were no crackers, mustards, jelly's or honey like you would expect from a winery. We also had to wait 45 minutes for our food, which came out wrong and pizza orders were mixed up (which they did not fix).
I would not recommend Casa...
