About half the place is under restoration with many rooms inaccessible and items in storage. Would have been nice to be forewarned about this rather than waste our time to see almost nothing. This was in early July. Even the gardens were unkempt and down right ugly and the outside walkways and stairs full of debris. Paint peeling all around and looked no better than an old abandoned building. Should not be open to the public without full disclosure that the place is in complete disarray inside and out. Had previously visited with another person a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it back then. The guide was informative and told great stories about the family history. Looked forward to that again for my elderly mother and was quite disappointed as this guide mumbled through her memorized script in a flat voice so low that we could not hear her, especially my mother. After multiple times asking to speak louder we gave up trying. Very disappointed with the cold reception a well. This was not worth our time or money to visit...

I have doubts that it's even haunted I was trying to get permission to do a paranormal investigation the manager denied me permission to investigate the manager said quote: you are not the first paranormal investigator that wants to investigate here... I said why won't you let me and my team investigate here. The managers response quote: their are no ghosts here. And they say that their were seances held their and their are not ghosts at that location but they have ghost tours I believe that they don't want paranormal investigations due to if their is an investigation held their and get debunked that it's even haunted and lose business because that's the job of a paranormal investigator to prove theirs life after death and that the place is genuinely haunted and that it's not a scam maybe they don't let investigators to investigate the Fulford place because they know it's not haunted if anything if they get a paranormal investigator say that it is haunted it would bring even more visitors IF it is...

Loved it! If you like going through old mansions, you find this one to be worth seeing. Beautiful old place that while large, doesnt feel like you're living in a hotel like Boldt Castle feels, for instance. Lots of fine China to gawk at. Wonderful grand staircase with beautiful woodwork. The place is in constant restoration and they were currently working on Mrs Fulford's sitting room when we were there, but we were able to enter the room. The plaster work on the ceiling was spectacular. Nice view of the St Lawrence from the back altho not as good as it would have been 120 years ago when the place was built. There are mature trees now and some of the original property has been sold off with more modern homes standing between Fulford Place and the river. But it's on a hill, so still a good view. Worth checking out if you like this...

Another stop in Brockville had us visiting Fulford Place. A beautiful mansion built for George Fulford, the Canadian business man behind Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People. If you've never heard of that, don't worry, we hadn't either but it is a very interesting piece of history if you happen to be passing through Brockville. Very beautiful architecture, intricate designs in every room. The restoration of this building is still not fully completed but what they've done so far is simply gorgeous. Definitely worth the low price of admission.

Fulford Place is absolutely stunning β€” a beautiful white mansion. The white exterior is so elegant, and inside, every detail was seriously impressive. The antique furniture? Just wow. 😍😍😍 We were there during the Ontario day. Our tour guide was exceptional, he really brought the Fulford family’s story to life. It honestly felt like we were back in that time, living their history. An incredible piece of history, wonderfully preserved. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Brockville! πŸ™Œ

I just had a fantastic tour with the very knowledgeable Leah. I’m sure all of the guides are fantastic, but if you are lucky enough to get her you are in for a fabulous time as she leads you through not just a house, but the layers of intrigue that existed in Brockville in the first part of the the 1900s!
