My third favourite park along the river in Brockville, the other two being St Lawrence Park & Blockhouse Island. This park has more open space than the others, so I'd good for dogs & children & games. It's also a popular spot for divers to train & start exploring the shipwrecks just offshore, as well as for young people to go swimming. There is no beach but is a staircase with metal railings leading into the river, & ladders along the wharf in the deeper area. I have not done these activities yet myself. This park is located on the quieter east end of Water Street beside The Exevutive condo building. It is a common spot for big ships or cruise boats to dock up, particularly during waterfront events & Tall Ships Festival which occurs every 2-3 yrs (there have been 4 ships festivals so far since 2013). You definitely need to be an okay swimmer here, because it can be quite choppy with the waves, but I love the fact you’re up to your shoulders in water after just a few steps.
