Myself and my two kids had a great time at Super Splash this past weekend.
The teen staff were helpful and polite, (I didn’t notice any staff over the age of 20). Wristband, life jacket, checking in were all great. There’s a selection of snacks available, but we brought in our own food.
Inflatables were a lot of fun, you definitely get a fun workout on them! They’re also in top condition, but that’s to be expected as they opened earlier this summer. There’s also plenty of life guards. One note; you do have to swim out to the inflatables which takes a few minutes.
Parking is quite limited as they don’t have their own lot. One was full when we got there, the other just one available spot.
I booked on the website the day before to get our 2 hour slot, which is what they advise so you don’t miss out if you pay at the door. One thing to note is that you do have to pay an additional cost to get into the quarry itself, which was an extra $16.75 for the three of us. The Super Splash website did not mention this (at least I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere during the booking process), and I was surprised when I was told this when we went in. They should add it to the website.
Having learned about the extra entrance cost we would still visit again as we all had...
Read moreThe super splash park was a lot of fun, and we had a great time. There are a few things to note:
buy passes well in advance. Chances are the day will fill up (only 90 people every 2 hours).
the super splash setup is within the quarry park so you have to pay to get in the quarry park as well (roughly $5 per person plus tax). This is on top of your super splash passes.
you can swim in the quarry park side with no time limit so plan to be there for the day if you like to swim before/after your super splash park time.
there's limited food available (pizza, nachos, ice cream, candy) and you can bring your own food.
this may sound weird, but absolutely trim your toenails right down before hand. It's common to catch/bend/break a toenail when you slip on...
Read moreTickets were purchased for a Friday from 2-4. We live about 40 mins away so we called at 11 am on Friday morning to ask if the park was open for the day, we were told yes. When we arrived at 1:50 the park was closed and was not opening for the rest of the day. When I spoke to the staff at Super Splash they told me they had no way of getting in touch with ticket holders (when purchasing tickets you HAVE to give your email and phone number) It's been 5 business days and I've been told by the staff that it will be another 5-10 business days before I get my $110 refund, which I had to ask for and was initially offered a credit.
Poor customer service. If you plan on traveling to St Marys Super Splash for the day don't be surprised if they...
