This was my first visit to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. It will not be my last. It is a small building but it is packed with lots to see. I went for the induction ceremony of Jose Bautista being inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame where he signed my(his) game used Sam Bat from the 2010 season when he hit 54 home runs and won the home run title that year. It was a dream come true. He also signed my jersey. There were a number of baseball greats there such as Fergie Jenkins, Lloyd Moseby, Larry Walker Ernie whitt and many others.

Always good to see Canadian baseball history preserved but was surprised that the new renovation increased the space but decreased the amount of exhibits. They need to find a way to show more of the history rather than just highlights of popular topics.

My grandson and I went to Stratford yesterday and when I mentioned that the Baseball hall of fame was in St Mary’s, he would not be quiet until I agreed to take him. Nearly talked my ear off. It was a good time and enjoyed spending time with him.

I wasn't sure what to expect and I was very pleased. They have four amazing quality and beautiful baseball fields! And we were lucky enough to catch the end of a tournament. Inside they managed to pack a huge amount of baseball memorabilia and displays. Fergie Jenkins' cy young award! Cito Gaston's world series rings! A Babe Ruth signed ball and bat! Take the time when in the past winners room, learning about the first baseball game happening in beechville and the local connections to Woodstock and Guelph. You can learn about the Canadian that helped introduce the glove to fielders. Definitely worth the visit. Signed balls and bats available for purchase. St Mary's is a really nice...

Date of visit: Sat July 1 Small local museum with a huge connection to America’s favourite sport. Did you know the first baseball game that was ever reported on was held NEAR St Mary’s? In the small town of St Mary’s is the Canadian baseball hall of fame, adjacent to a baseball diamond. This is a surprising collection of baseball artifacts, memorabilia, and attractions. You will learn a lot about the game of baseball. It is a small museum, but there are a lot of artifacts. The Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expo exhibits are fairly extensive. This is a great museum for the history of baseball for the fans of the game. Kids will love it, as much...

As a sport fan you need to visit. Icons like Jackie Robinson to Hall of Famer Fergie Jenkins who's Cy Young Award is there and many more of Canadian Baseball Legends memorabilia it is a must see for all fans. Take the young one who dream of making it there ones day or the not so young who can reminisce of the days when they were younger with great baseball players of their childhood. It will be in my annually summer trips. Next year I am excited for the 2020-21 Hall of Fame Ceremony. That Sweet Swinging First Baseman hitting machine John Olerud will be inducted with others. Five...
