Lakefront West Park — Attraction in Oshawa

I love it because it is so peaceful here. There is a trail walk in pavement that goes a long way, haven't experienced that to see how far. The lake is right here on the south end of the park, gorgeous skies, clouds, colors. There is a pub/restaurant a sports center, huge baseball diamonds eight infact. In the summer kids come for events, baseball is on, even Johnny on the spots. I come here when it is no baseball so my dog gets to run around and walk and lot of times lays and rolls under the many shade...

Usually quiet in the winter season however the trail is beautiful, the lake view is beautiful, the calm and peace you feel here is amazing. I bring my kids here all the time. We spend time here just walking, talking and enjoying mother nature. When you have +4° in January, it's a great time to take the kids out jogging, which I did. I visited this park recently and I couldn’t believe such a beautiful place existed so close to our place. This park provides an stunning view of Lake Ontario from the top. It has long walking trail and a nice spot for kid’s cycling. It’s fun trying to spot CN tower through the lookout. A less crowded place for a weekend getaway.
