This park is along Lake Ontario. We went during the week and the sand on the beach was raked and clean. This park has a huge playground for kids with 2 zip lines and a splash pad. There is also 2 other playground areas in the park. There's lots of benches, picnic tables, garbage cans, scooters and bikes you can rent. And a few trails where you can ride your bikes or scooters on. There is also lots of free parking and the Oshawa museum is in the park. Read moreMid August 2022: this park was incredibly smelly. It was a natural smell of some characteristic rotten vegetation kind of. I’m giving one extra star because this park has two zip lines for children and a very large play area that has many toys and also has a splash pad with a high bucket. The beach downstream has very thick green cloudy water to the left of which there’s a shipyard which adds to the visual displeasure.
