Beautiful spot to go swimming near the city. The beach is pretty small and the pond drops off pretty quickly so there isn't tonnes of room to wade or lounge. But the pond is very nice to float in or go for a swim especially on a hot day. It is fairly deep so I would not recommend if you are a weak swimmer. There is an area to lock your bike outside the path in and there is some street parking in the area.

I go swimming here from April until December…it’s the best urban swimming experience I’ve ever seen. The 0700-1400 swimming hours are annoying (and enforced by on-site By Law officers now), but well worth the trouble/effort otherwise. Pro Tip: If ever you show up after closing and really want to swim, Lac Leamy is not that far (20-25 minute bike ride from here) and a good alternative.

It’s a very cozy and cute water place to be. wish the beach as wider but it has its perks.

Hidden gym between Rockliffe and Manor park. Small little clean pond with a small beached area. The water is as clean as it can get. No lifeguard present, make sure to supervise your children it gets really deep at a fast rate. The hours are odd, open Mon to Fri 7am to 2pm. Do not swim before or after these hours, someone will come and discipline you. Free parking on the street available around the area. No...

Cute little quiet area close to downtown. There is not a lot of space to sit and lounge and read in the sun (read: it is usually full by 11am), so bring a noodle and swim out and lounge in the middle of the lake. The lake gets quite deep quite quickly, so if you aren't a good swimmer, there isn't much shoreline to hang around either. No bugs, no seaweed, and also not monitored (so be careful...
