Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough — Attraction in Peterborough

So the movie was good the start time was 9:50 played ads til 10:05 pm that's fine. I treated myself to a combo instead of bringing water and decided that I would go for that "free refill" so at 10:35 pm I go to get a refill and the guy was nice totally not his fault but he couldn't get me any because they took the taps away for cleaning...so I ask for water he says to use the fountain down the hall which I did..so no free refill and I was able to get maybe 1/4th of the cup filled with gross room temperature water maybe consider changing the times you do this considering it was literally a half hour into the film paid over twenty bucks for that? Film wasn't even over til almost midnight would be more understandable if it was later but half hour later? Safe to say I will never be spending extra for a drink again.

Months later nothing has changed the place can't even be clean at the start of the day screens are dirty and need cleaning they never oil the chairs and a few of the rooms have rattling noise from the vents all the time I'm sure movie goers love it also love the need for the employees to be most distributive 2 people in the room and we need a employee coming in to check the sheet they checked a half hour ago I swear no one takes pride in anything and has absolutely no thought process at all thanks for coming out

I still going even though it's not the best and still have a Cineplex pass tonight I come to see shin Godzilla but when the ceiling is swollen with water and it has a constant very loud drip the whole movie because it has a leak that they've known about and just put bags down I just somehow couldn't get into it...got a refund no problem just wish this place was better cared for don't need the constant sound or the roof collapsing I'll just have to wait for a screening of a movie in a room that doesn't leak unfortunately love the employees walking in every twenty minutes it's not disruptive to the movie at all

Walked out to a movie that I love because I'm just done with Cineplex cancelled my subscription and won't be back instead of fixing the leak it's just a ton of buckets now. Was so excited for the 50th anniversary of one flew over the Cuckoo's nest but debit can't order online no ATM on site think they'd offer a free small popcorn for the inconvenience? NOPE That it for me goodbye Cineplex hello digital release dates at home obviously not purchased through Cineplex and no it wasn't listed on the website about issues with cards yet it is now though

Elevator has been down for about 3 months it rains and it disturbs your movie....poor service bottom line is whoever runs this place obviously doesn't care about customer experience maybe one day someone will open a theatre to bring back what used to be an amazing time

Too expensive, its outrageous, and the fact they no longer do refills is kind of ridiculous, considering how much they charge for soft drinks and popcorn, when both are relatively cheap items to begin with. They milk customers for their money these days. The only thing that is still a good price is their tickets for the movie, which is the only reason why I did not rate this cinema as one star. Half the time I come here the employees are emotionless or seem unhappy… not very good customer service from my experiences either, my elderly mother could say the same, whom they manipulated. She was told she was getting a gift card worth 40$ around christmas, (and my mother is not a rich lady, she actually struggling with money issues) and was planning to give it to a family member for a gift, until a few days before christmas, she opened the envelope to find 40$ worth of coupons, 15$ of which was useless because we do not have a Toys r US or home internet to use the DVD rental, and no movie ticket was present in the package, just a buy one get one free coupon which was never mentioned. We called for my mom and immediately they said No refunds. And no one would compensate or do anything. I had no choice but to buy the coupons off of her so she could give the family member 40$ to just go to the movies so she didn't feel bad. So thank you Galaxy Cinemas for that Dilemma. Your service to the public could...

2 star is being generous when I compare it to Oshawa cenimplex odeon with the same price point

The cleanliness of this theatre is not perfect (for example, shoes sticking to floor...) last couple movies I saw, the screen either needed repair or to be cleaned (either mold or soda on the screen above the center

Audio needs to be professionally tuned

Parking is a pain because if you lose your parking ticket or forget to scan it... You have to pay a high price for parking! And even then, it's hard to find a decent parking spot

Lighting should be adjusted to make assigned seating easier to find
