A long stretch of gravel road before you reach it, limited number of parking spots so for weekends or holidays make sure you go early in the morning. A relatively considerable walking distance from the parking lot, so if you have lots of stuff I recommend you bring a small trolly to reach inside benches which are nice but relatively limited in numbers. Nice long and narrow sandy beach, beautiful all around scenery, perfect for canoeing, paddling and even fishing. Absolutely NO cell phone signal coverage (regardless of you service provider) and no land line to use (even for emergencies)! $12 fees per car paid on exit by credit or debit...

Camping there for the weekend was outstanding! We booked both sites 10A and 10B. The sites are immediately next to each other but are absolutely private from the rest of the lake. I would 100% recommend only booking if you plan on getting each site, otherwise you’re canoeing 45minutes to camp with strangers. The provided wood was slow burning, wet wood so expect the fire to burn a lot longer than the typical bags of wood/kindling usually available at...

The unpaved road was a surprise, as were the hoards and hoards of cars and people. The website said that this was one of the more “peaceful” beaches which is why we chose it. We ended up closer to the kayak launch area as the main beach area was back-to-back with people. The water was ok- a lot of moss and weeds. All in all- wasn’t the most relaxing experience but we made...

This is a beautiful lake. There are public bbq pits and camping sites. You can also rent canoes here. The route to this lake is a little scary at night time. There is no cellular signal at the lake so be prepared. You can also swim in the lake.
