McMillan Creek Regional Park — Attraction in Prince George

The loop trail is a lot more vertical than I expected. The view from the top of the cutbanks looking over town is very good. The trail that just leads to the viewpoint is short and easy so you could easily take kids or have a picnic or something. Fun spot to hike up the famous Prince George cutbanks, visit the sand caves, and dip in the river after. From the McMillan parking lot sign, 1) take the steep trail straight up to see the caves directly and then hike along the ridge to the main banks with rope. Or 2) take the flat trail beyond the sign and access the gentler switchbacks trail to get to the top, or climb the rope straight up...
