This "park" is an absolute hidden gem and I hesitate to write about it as its so close to GTA that I wouldn't want it to be overcrowded in the future, however, I love everything nature and anyone who loves nature should know about this preserve. its totally hidden with few trails leading into the heart of it. There is also very little parking.. there is a small lot but is further away from the good parts so you can find a shoulder along the road and park there. There will always be few cars already. The preserve is very large and you will see all kinds of wildlife, from deer to foxes, lots of birds and some fish in the shallow parts. This place is great for photos and trails and on a warm and sunny days there are shallow pools with warm water for kids to splash in and try to catch minnows. Absolutely...

Overall pretty easy flat terrain for hiking. Parking lot gets full on busy days so best to go earlier in the morning those days. Parking costs less than $10 for the whole day. Saw several off-leash dogs during the hike so beware if you are not...
