On Aug 24th 2024, a Saturday afternoon, one of the cooks (which we later learnt was the owner’s husband) came out from behind the back area and absolutely humiliated my husband for wearing a mask as he was checking out w the cashier. Did we need to explain that my husband had a lung condition compounded by recently fighting cancer via chemo which has left him immunocompromised nope. But did we anyhow… yup. And the employee/co-owner still kept up his tirade and humiliation…. Vile. Berated him in front of customers to the point my husband left and I stayed behind to get a refund for all the stuff we had bought moments earlier.

Dude came out for a round two at that point and kept saying nonsense like ‘I’m a mask expert, I’m certified’ and ‘I’m a brick wall nothing you say is going to stick’ when I said he should be ashamed of himself for attacking someone who clearly identified they were in cancer recovery. And all this in front of a line of customers.

Owner/wife comes out to tell him to stop yelling in front of customers but not a peep of apology to us. Only the cashier was decent, they looked mortified by the whole thing and swiftly completed the refund.

Went from my husband doing a happy dance in the parking lot at the thought of milkshakes and chock-chip cookies, to near tears absolute humiliation.

It was soooo grossssss We will never spend...

The Fawn Over Market is amazing. I had the pizza a few years ago randomly at an event and been thinking about it ever since. Finally had a chance to get there today and it did not disappoint. It’s probably the best pizza from Ottawa to Toronto at a minimum! And for the style of pizza that it is, they have it down to a science. Slaps so hard!! I can’t recommend this pizza enough! Don’t dare step inside and leave without trying it. I’ve had pizza from all over the world as well!

They support all kinds of local products and brands and the whole market has a killer vintage vibe.

We also bought house Caesar sauce which was maybe the best I’ve ever had that I stumbled upon randomly. And I bought a Blueberry scone there which also has to be the best scone I’ve ever tried. Typically scones are on the lowest level of pastry chain- but this one, it’s on a whole other echelon.

They do things right over at the F O M!

Whole place gets a 10/10!...

Title: Amazing Pizza and Outstanding Service!

Review: I recently visited FAWN OVER MARKET and was blown away by both the quality of the pizza and the exceptional service. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and generous, and the flavors were simply delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic pizza experience. Five stars all the way!

Feel free to customize it to better fit your...

Missed the daily post for the special, not a problem here !! Alex knew what we wanted , whipped it up just in time for supper. So for the food… my wife worked for a Greek based restaurant for almost 20yrs, so there was some big shoes to fill. The pork Souvlaki was so tender and fantastically seasoned, the salad was super fresh and when paired with the sides… 5 star. My wife also picks up the garlic cream spread that she honestly eats on everything. There is enough food here for a few days as well… highly recommend.

This was one of the best bakery and restaurant experiences we had in Prince Edward County. Great products for purchase, their cheese scones are addictive and don’t get me started with their oatmeal raisin cookies! We bought 3 loaves of their focaccia bread and ate more than we should have. BTW - their coffee is so good. It’s local. It’s tasty. And you won’t regret going out of your way to pick some goodies up!
