I recently attended COME FROM AWAY at the Conexus Arts Centre Theatre, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This venue truly stands out not just because of the performances it hosts, but also because of the exceptional staff and impressive facility.
The staff at Conexus Arts Centre is incredibly welcoming and professional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and a genuine warmth that made me feel instantly comfortable. The ushers were helpful, guiding me to my seat and providing clear instructions about intermission and other logistics. It was clear they were well-trained and genuinely cared about creating a pleasant experience for each guest. Even at concessions, the staff was efficient and friendly, making sure that everyone was taken care of quickly so we could all enjoy the show on time.
The facility itself is top-notch. The theatre is well-designed, with comfortable seating and excellent sightlines from almost every angle, allowing for an immersive experience. The acoustics are impressive; every line of dialogue and musical note was crystal clear, enhancing the performance. The lobby and common areas are spacious and well-maintained, adding to the elegant feel of the venue. It’s clear that care and attention go into keeping this place in top condition, making it one of the premier locations in the area for arts and entertainment.
Whether you're attending a concert, play, or any other event, the Conexus Arts Centre Theatre provides a fantastic atmosphere that elevates the experience. With attentive staff and a beautiful, well-kept venue, it’s the perfect place for a night out. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a quality performance in a comfortable, well-organized setting. This theatre is a gem, and I look forward to...
Read moreI went to a Marianas Trench concert here tonight. Everything was great, and a specific staff member was very accommodating to my needs all day, up until the concert itself started. We were in supposed disability accessible seating, but I didn't know that those seats involved not being able to see. Of course, it's a concert, so others can stand whenever they want. The issue is that I have a fainting disorder and chronic fatigue, which makes standing nearly impossible for more than a minute or two at a time. So when I asked for accommodations so that I could sit down and still see, one of the ushers was wonderful and had me move my banquet chair to the side where we could see properly, away from the exits and right next to where he himself was standing. However, four songs in, I was told by a different usher that it doesn't matter if I can't see, I have to return to my original seat and deal with what I was given. I am beyond upset and disappointed in the fact that the supposedly "accessible seating" I was given and told that even if people are standing, I would be able to see from where I was, is not, in fact, accessible at all. I wouldn't have been upset if I had been told the truth in the first place that it was not accessible if others were standing around me, but don't market things to be accessible to your guests/customers/whatever you want to call them. It just leaves a bad taste in...
Read moreI have been here on many different occasions. From Diwali nights, What Women want, weddings, Christmas parties, delhi to Dublin concert, rso concert, just for laugh tours, etc. It all has been a good venue to attend.
Found that they need to remind others to tone down their fragrance eating, especially for large gatherings for an extended time frame in close quarters. My recent experience has prevented me from enjoying the show as I began to develop a migraine due to someone's heavy amount of fragrance wearing and extreme tiredness started to set in, and eye watering. This with a double mask on for an extended period of time too.
October 2024 Not much has changed when coming in for a show on the main stage shows. Same issues, had issues with fragrances and I had no mask this time to help filter the air.
From craft or trade shows that are usually on the lower levels, it is not that bad but then there are less people at those events and it is a...
