Western Pizza — Restaurant in Regina

I was coming with my roommate and some friend that had a baby together, going in beforehand to tell he staff that we would need a place held (for maybe 10 minutes before we would sit down). The waitress assures me that she is going to go put a baby seat by the table so we're ready to go. When my friends was in before me (with baby) we almost have to ask for baby seat. Immediately after getting the child seat the waitress asks for what we want to drink, but doesn't ask if the baby is thirsty (we have to call her back). When asking about baby friendly foods that aren't too hot (this 13 month old has 3 teeth) the waitress suggests soup and a salad, which I ask about if they have cheese bread.

When all the actual food comes (I ordered the fish and chips, friends ordered a pizza) the portions of fish is all together maybe the size of a 5 dollar bill. Everyone at the table was surprised how small the portion was. I had more toast than I had fish. The only way I was able to tell that it was real fish was due to the texture, there was no real taste other than the batter they used. My friends said that the pizza was really the only safe thing to order.

The bathroom there was surprisingly dirty and the toilet didn't even flush liquid waste plus a small amount of toilet paper. I'm guessing that people just always use the washroom on the bar side because this was apparently never brought up to staff...

I arrived with 2 small children at about 615 PM. Our food arrived at about 7 PM. We were all tired and hangry at this point. We were then ignored until about 8 PM (another table arrived and ate and left during that time) and we only got service because we were all exhausted and starting to get cranky and loud. It took forever for dessert to arrive. The marshmallows on our sundaes were crunchy. The food was bad. Neither of my kids ate much and they love pizza. The carrots were soggy along one edge. The alfredo sauce tasted strange, like white wine and ranch dressing. The wings were only good when they were hot and not as they started to cool. Our server was friendly enough, just completely absent. And the restaurant was cold inside.

One star is for the super colouring pages and lots of crayons that were necessary to fill the time.

I enjoyed breakfast on March 23, 2023 at Western Pizza on Broadway Avenue in Regina SK. The service was excellent, as were my pancakes. My sister enjoyed her Classic Breakfast of Eggs, toast, hash-browns and ham. On March 28, 2023, my sister and I again visited this location for the delicious lunch buffet which is served Monday through Thursday. As always, their choices of pasta, pizza, ribs, garlic sticks and their soup of the day, for that day, beef barley were good and filling. I have been here on other occasions for lunch from the menu, as well. The staff here are always friendly, and accommodating to the customers requests.
