Absolutely amazing!!! Attended a day heli package last week. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tiffany who was extremely polite and welcoming!! Tiffany explained what our morning was going to look like and provided us with everything we needed!! After checking in, we got our gear together, complimentary rentals sorted out (they have a great selection of Ski’s and boards) and went up stairs for breakfast. All the staff were super professional and extremely nice. Breakfast was great (it’s a full spread - don’t bother eating before!). Our guide for the day was Alex - who had 20 years experience ski touring in the area. Alex was awesome - knowledgeable, friendly, professional, trustworthy and funny! @Alex - thanks for the awesome day and fresh tracks!! Our pilot for the day was Kerslake, besides the fresh snow and sunshine was the highlight of the day. Absolutely the perfect person to be piloting heli skiing, Kerslake has the whole group in laughter. We had exceptionally smooth flying, and the chopper was waiting for us at the end of every run! (“Nice jeans bud”) Overall - this was the best skiing experience in my life (27 years skiing). Thank you to all of the staff that made our day memorable.

Absolutely incredible experience. We visited during “considerable” avalanche ratings, and I was pretty nervous going into the day. We had a wonderful breakfast with our group and a very thorough safety briefing and explanation of terrain selection. I felt very comfortable with the group and our two guides, Bren and Simon. We had an incredible, sunny day with perfect snow. Our guides provided constant feedback to the group with what to do differently/not forget, and that really made me feel like they were continuously monitoring our safety. We added an extra run at the end, and so glad we did. Unreal day. I am so happy with our experience!!

It's heli-skiing so it's obviously going to be a great time, but unfortunately we left our trip with them feeling a bit underwhelmed. If this was my first go around I'd probably have given them 4, maybe even 5 starts, but having been on trips with a few other operations the experience with Selkirk just wasn't as good. Biggest downfall for us was that we just didn't get really click with our guide during the week that we were there. I've done a few trips with CMH and some days we loved our guide, other days they were just OK, but when they were just OK we only had them for a day and then rode with someone else the following day. With Selkirk we were stuck with the same guy all 5 days as well in the evenings for dinner etc. From the 30 or so guided days I've had in the backcountry he was unfortunately in the bottom 3-5 guides I've ridden with. When you're stuck with the same guide the whole trip it really makes the whole experience dependent on how you click with the guide and in this case we just didn't click (we interacted with one of the other guides out there a few times, Joey, and I'm sure had we been in his group the whole time the experience would have been completely different) I'd say still a great option for someone looking to heli-ski for their first time and I could see groups going and loving it if they get matched up with the right guide. I personally probably wouldn't go back though. I'd rather go on another trip with CMH if it's going to be in a big 12 guest heli in Revelstoke, or try another outfit there. Better yet, skip the big heli and get into an A-Star with someone like Stellar down in Nelson!

I would recommend Selkirk for anyone looking to heli-ski in BC! It was our second time heli-skiing and the guides did a great job making us feel comfortable but also taking us into GREAT terrain. The avy danger was extremely high (4), but we still were able to get some great runs in... overall 10/10 experience! Will definitely come back and do it again!

What an incredible experience. Despite poor weather (fog, warm temps) and a low snow year, our pilot and guides found us some great lines. Our guides were personable and fun, but never lost focus on safety. Due to cost, this was a once in a lifetime experience for me, but I'm so glad I did it.

Can heliskiing be any better? Great guys that make your trip perfect. Of course it's depending on the weather. Security's kept serious. Great guiding and helicopter driving. Tasteful lunch in the mountains every day. I will come back
