DO NOT GO THERE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE KICKED OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF PAYING SERVICE HOUR!!
I had a high expectation about this place, after seeing good reviews and the place itself was okay, but definitely the ‘WORST’ customer service. We arrived at 11:30 on Friday, and the place was not crowded at all with just a few kids. After filling out a waiver form(it was 11:33am), we had an instruction about how to clip and unclip the rope.
Since it was our first time and the kids were 8 and 4, it was hard for them to clip and unclip by themselves, and it took even for adults to get used to do it as well, we spent about 20 mins do climbing and had to help them unclip the ropes, even for the ones who are not our kids. (I understand the safety issue but I am explaining that took some time as well to move from one to another.)
And then suddenly the staff reminded 10 minutes towards us, and our faces were with question marks since we were supposed to stay for an hour.
There were a group of big kids lining up and we were told there was a birthday party after us. So I asked the staff what was going on, and the staff asked us to leave since the birthday party was booked; so I asked again why they didn’t let us know before because if we had known the fact that we had to leave in half an hour we wouldn’t to plan to come here taking an hour just to get here.
The staff admitted there was a mistake to book a birthday party, but didn’t make any suggestions for us. So asked again when the party ended and she said I could come back at 1:15, which was about an hour. But after talking to my friends we decided not to come back because we already had a bad impression, so we asked for a refund for the half an hour.
The staff changed her words since then, she OFFERED (which was not, that was asked by me from the beginning) to come back and play for the rest but because we rejected her ‘offer’, so we only get 40% refund, but it is also very RARE case since they never offered refund before.
We also asked to talk to the GM on the phone, but she kept her position that 40% refund is the maximum flavour she could offer for us.
We ended up getting just 40% refund, but we are never coming back, and very disappointed the solution they...

I would just like to make a BEWARE post for any families who are thinking of taking their kids to ClipNClimb Vancouver in Richmond.
Today I took my respite child and their younger sibling to have some fun and climb. After we were done we went to the car, but knowing young kids they always say they have to use the bathroom after you leave. We went back in to this buisness to use the bathroom. The oldest child in my care did not have to use the bathroom, so I told her to wait outside the door and talk to me so I knew she was there and we would be quick.
While we were in the bathroom for less than 2 minutes the owner told my respite child who is 7 and autistic to hide from me ( a child would think that was funny let alone a neurodivergent child) I came out in a panic to her gone. He told me without panic she ran outside. I ran outside with the youngest to find her, while he just sat there with no care in the world. I didn’t see her so I ran back inside to check the area and as I walked past the desk he said “did she get hit by a car”. My stomach sank and I just froze in my spot and got the nastiest feeling. WHO MAKES A JOKE ABOUT A KID GETTING HIT BY A CAR….. I then ran back outside to check by my car and I hear my child call my name. I asked her where she was ! She said the guy told her to hide behind the curtain. I then lost it and all I wanted to do was get the kids in my car and get home.
When we got home I asked her what he said to her and that she wasn’t in trouble but I needed more information. She said he didn’t tell me to go upstairs… he told me to hide behind the curtain. I asked what curtain because I don’t recall seeing any. She said the one under the stairs. She said there was a vacuum and extra clothes and other things ( this is a hazard… she could of got into stuff or hurt). I said how did you know to come outside she said he told me to get out cause I was outside looking for her.
With that being said if you want your child to be safe I would highly suggest you do not take your child to this buisness. The owner is a creep and should not be around kids let alone trusted. I’m so...
Read moreWithout a doubt this place deserves 5 stars. We booked here for my son’s 12th birthday with 7 of his friends. An hour before arrival we got a call saying the power was down in the area. You can imagine the thought of that: all of the boys were already at our house with nothing planned but to leave. But, luckily, they were able to operate without power and gave us the choice to come today in the dark, or rebook, for which we would be treated kindly for our understanding. I’m so glad we came anyway!!! We had lanterns and flashlights and enough light from outside, and in my opinion, it just made the whole experience even more fun! The staff had so much to deal with, as you can imagine, and yet they were helpful and kind and as professional as ever. A big shout out to Abs who was supervising today. He has the makings of an exceptional leader someday! He was so courteous and really went out of his way to make our experience delightful. Adriana and everyone else were truly great as well. I have been managing in the hospitality and entertainment industry for a long time and rarely have I seen a young crew do such a great job in the face of adversity. Thank you...
