July 2025 We can’t afford afternoon tea here anymore.

July 2023 ThEy aRe BaCk! Teas aren’t every weekend, but they are happening. The price is higher, like everything. It means I can’t go as often as I did. I worry that they won’t fill their seats because of the increase of price. Be sure to make a reservation.

But ohhhhhh - it is lovely. Really lovely. If you get to work at the tearoom, you’re lucky. If you get to take tea, you’re lucky.

3 tiers of sweets, including fresh scones. Endless pots of tea and cream. Delightful mix of teacups and saucers from different sets, and the cutest tablecloths. Views of the garden! And there was cool air in the tearoom on a hot day.

Archive: The tearoom opened for one weekend in December, 2021. 🤞they come back for good.

We cAME here 3-4 times a year. They just knEW tea - served in china with scones, jam, and ever-changing baking. The people serving were so nice. Like REALLY NICE. I can’t believe I never thought to write a...

Super cute place for afternoon tea!! Came here on mother's day and because we were a party of 6 we got seated in the Parlour Room - best seat in the house! Afternoon tea is only $14, which is an amazing deal and personally I prefer that the amount of food as it is more like a snack than a full blown meal.

The tea was so good we bought a few packs to take home with us. There was also a cute little plant sale going on and an option to buy some organic eggs.

The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was really good the scones were amazing! Would definitely come back again.

Loved that we were sitting inside a Heritage House where you could go wander around to see the various rooms that are on display. It's a very different experience than your regular high tea destination.

My family and I have never been to this part of Steveston before so it was quite nice to discover another part of Metro...

Such a disappointment! Don't waste your time here! I tried booking high tea for a birthday one month in advance and was given the run around for 3 weeks before finally they did not honor the reservation. I had to send 3 emails during this time because they will not take a reservation over the phone but when I didn't receive a confirmation I called back and was told they were having computer problems so resend an email reservation request. I did this 3 times before finally 3 weeks later they said sorry too bad they were booked on the day I was looking for. However they were not booked 3 weeks prior when I initially tried to make the reservation by both phone and email. Absolutely no attempt to remedy this terrible customer service experience! I was initially so excited to go here but will definitely not waste a second more of my time...

I couldn't post the other pictures because my family members were in it but there was the main house (which was closed at the time I visited and would reopen June 1), a beautiful, large wooden gazebo, a chicken farm, a large bench under vine trellises, and a large display of a variety of old farm equipment. The main house was a tea house but we couldn't go inside because, once again, it was closed. If you walk about a few hundred meters away from the farm, there is a massive, hand-planted garden; we talked to the elderly owner and he was very nice and open to questions!
