Paid for the sub tour and was told if we made it to the lighthouse before they closed (Were there with 25 MIN left till close) we would be able to tour the lighthouse. Upon entering they said they just let the last group up 5 min before we arrived and that we could not enter. Upon speaking to management to mention this is our one and only time in this area and moving on to Ontario all we got was a supervisor who said she couldn't speak any English. Our little boys were upset needless to say, this was the first and only lighthouse we would have been able to go in after seeing a dozen during our 2 week maritime vacation. One suggestion, if you are going to have senior management to have running this tourist attraction maybe consider hiring someone bilingual to bridge the gap and not to offend as most of the visitors if not all had out of province license plates (Ontario, Pei,...

Toute la famille a adoré! Toutes les activités au menu ont un cachet spécial et original. La visite du sous-marin est absolument à ne pas manquer! Avant d'embarquer à bord de celui-ci, on nous prête un appareil qui nous fait une description audio de l'endroit où on se trouve à bord. Une foule d'informations pertinentes sont ainsi livrées sur un ton hyper sympathique, juste assez "technique" (le "dosage" était parfait) et le tout est vraiment très intéressant et captivant! Les personnes qui ont travaillé à la conception et à la réalisation de cette trame sonore ont vraiment fait un boulot exceptionnel et je tenais à le souligner. Bravo!!! Tout était parfait! Le sous-marin, quand à lui, est vraiment à couper le souffle! Sa taille est immense et juste de le voir de l'extérieur constitue un spectacle unique et très impressionnant!!!

Aussi, à souligner: partout sur le site, le personnel est d'une gentillesse remarquable!

Les tarifs sont aussi très abordables et à la fin de la visite on n'éprouve pas du tout la désagréable impression de s'être fait "avoir" en tombant dans une autre "trappe à touristes".

Tous les visiteurs que nous avons croisés semblaient, ou se disaient enchantés de leur visite.

Je suis une personne habituellement assez critique (parfois même un peu chiâleux) et je n'ai aucun point négatif à rapporter. Que du positif!

Je recommande très fortement cet endroit. C'est un endroit unique pour vivre une expérience "différente" et complètement décrocher. C'était réellement une visite marquante dont on garde un souvenir toute sa vie. Je me promets d'y retourner!

Mon fils de 9 ans (enfant trop gâté...) a adoré sa journée!!!

Suggestion: se documenter, avant d'effectuer la visite, sur l'histoire du navire "'Empress of Ireland" ainsi que des circonstances de son naufrage rehausse de beaucoup l'expérience. On retrouve d'excellents documentaires, notamment sur YOUTUBE.
