Thunder Rapids Amusement Park — Attraction in Rural Municipality of Headingley

Super fun experience! I took the children i Nanny here to spend the day Mini golf was fun, karts were great as well! My only complaint would be, when we ordered food I watched someone drop a knife on the floor and put it back in the bin (I assume where they keep utensils) in the fridge without cleaning it & secondly, the woman who I assume runs the place? Watched a girl put clubs down on the ground (she was probably holding like 10 of them and wanted to get us served) and instead of talking to her about what she could do instead privately, she spoke to the girl behind the counter in front of customers. I don’t think that’s polite to the customers or the staff member. Some suggestions : maybe have a limit on the amount of people allowed on the golf course, it was backed up. Secondly MUSIC! Add some Music speakers to liven up the place and get an intercom so staff doesn’t have to wander the park to tell people their...

This is our second time at Thunder rapids. It is fun. The course is well maintained and there was some work being done on the 18 hole mini putt while we were there but no big deal. The cashier was friendly and nice. The go karting people seemed to be preoccupied with their break so we were waiting for about 15 minutes before we got to go but it’s not a deal breaker for me. You have to go inside and ask for a hair net from the cashier which to me should be offered when you buy your ticket but overall it’s a fun experience especially if you have kids. My son got to drive his own cart, it’s smaller than the other ones but he loved that. There’s two cars, checkered and green. We got green because my son is 11 still so much fun. Loved going to this place as a kid. Found it to be pricey with Short rides. Playstructure really needs a good deep cleaning, and the helmets as well. Other than that staff was polite, friendly and helpful. If your paying per ride you could spend a couple hundred here in a couple hours. For 3 rides and kids going on the Playstructure that would be about 1.5 hrs of entertained kids under the age of 10. The bumper boats are good and so are the batting cages. This place is more designed for kids ages 8+ you can make it work for kids ages 4-8 but I would say this place is ideal for kids 6-12. Because the only other activity is mini golf. Still all original amenities from when I was a kid but doesn't have the same luster, it could use some music playing and maybe a Playstructure/ play space for kiddos 2-4 in the...
