On my way from the ferry to Victoria, I decided to make a stop at Mount Douglas Beach. Huge play ground, lots of parking and very few people. A short walk down to the beach, including stairs, covered by the forest canopy and a beautiful stream to the right of the stairs. I was stunned by the vastness of the beach and bay. There was only one other person sitting on a log, laptop out, probably working (west coast, pandemic style). Read moreThis is a beautiful little beach that is in Mount Douglas Park. There is a public bathroom by the parking lot. There is a lot of parking. There is also a playground by the parking lot which seems to have quite a lot of equipment. There are a bunch of picnic benches also around the parking lot before the path that goes down to the beach. The beach itself was quite small and seem to be mostly rocky.
