On my way from the ferry to Victoria, I decided to make a stop at Mount Douglas Beach. Huge play ground, lots of parking and very few people. A short walk down to the beach, including stairs, covered by the forest canopy and a beautiful stream to the right of the stairs. I was stunned by the vastness of the beach and bay. There was only one other person sitting on a log, laptop out, probably working (west coast, pandemic style). Now, it was a work day, essential travel only (so no tourists), 8:00 in the morning and a little overcast but definitely worth an easy stop for a great long...

This is a beautiful little beach that is in Mount Douglas Park. There is a public bathroom by the parking lot. There is a lot of parking. There is also a playground by the parking lot which seems to have quite a lot of equipment. There are a bunch of picnic benches also around the parking lot before the path that goes down to the beach. The beach itself was quite small and seem to be mostly rocky. It is a really beautiful view. I would highly recommend a visit...

It is a very calm and breezy beach. Great to visit when u wanna relax urself with nature while reading books or just enjoying sea side. U will see many stones and pebbles here. I went in the evening time & enjoyed the beautiful colours of the sky as well. Quiet area.

Not super busy, which is nice. Easier to get to than i expected, there were some stairs but nothing too difficult. Not a lot of sand, but thats typical of Victoria beaches (I am from NS so my expectations of beaches are high😊).
