Great staff, last point before cell connectivity drops to 0
Update: Road to the Parcs Canada both: A large stretch of road loading to the booth has recently been paved. Was great driving to the park compared to last year.
Mistagance campground: Stayed at Mistagance in 2022, clean and proper playground (no swings), clean bathrooms (cleaned and stocked at least once a day)
Of note, if you stay near the playground area, expect children noises/screams. Heard some neighbors complaining about children... to me as long as they happen during the non curfew hours, it is to be expected. If looking for a quieter experience, must camp further away from playgrounds.
Shawinigan Park and cascade trail: Visited Shawinigan Park and the waterfalls, great spot for cooling off, but can get busy at times. Hard to access with strollers/trolleys as there are steep climbs.
Of note, the rental and canteen facility was understaffed during our visit, saw a lot of angry people due to long wait time and lack of information on staff location. We didn't use their services so not much a problem for us.
Trails: Walked the "les falaises" trail with a 4 years old girl, took us 2.5 hours, lots of stairs and climbing, but if she can do it, most humans can as well. Very nice lookouts, not too busy trails. Can also connect with "les cascades" trail, for the water falls.
Once again, great stay, and lots...

There were some other spectacular view points. There was a beach, camping grounds, boating areas and trails. Overall, well worth the visit. 100%...
