Canoe Beach — Attraction in Salmon Arm

Excellent beach, Water was incredibly warm and the swimming boundary is quite large. Sand feels wonderful and isn't too "rocky". Cafe on site was lovely, unique options for lunch and Paddleboard/Kayak rentals for a truly fair price (We paid $130 for my partner and I, for two hours & two boards). While it is more economical to purchase an inflatable stand up paddle board, for the person who would only like to go once or twice throughout the summer, it's quite reasonable and was super enjoyable. Will definitely being going back!

I gre up on this beach, the cafe is the best place to eat in salmon arm, but beware of taking your dogs, if you dont follow a specific walking route with your dog, which is not posted ANYWHERE, bylaw will fine you $100 for having your dog outside the "dog area". However, this is only enforced by bylaw discretion and some dogs will be allowed on other parts of the beach, whereas some dogs will be discriminated against depending on the breed preferences of the officer on patrol. If there were other nearby options for dogs I'd never bring my pup back...

By far one of the best public beaches Ive ever been. Very very nice place to swim and do lots of fun staff. Grassy ground , they also have small playground for kids. Rental of water activity available and an ice cream store. Breakwater area and sandy area. Treed site and has a volley court. So much can be done.
