Take at least one clear garbage bag with you, take the time to pick up a bag of rope or other plastic garbage off the beach or adjoining salt marsh, and later, after enjoying the beautiful Bay at the beach, please tote it home with you, to put out for roadside pick-up. And please, don't use our roads and lots for garbage plots. We have cleaned the Beach and Salt Marsh - please help keep it clean. Enjoy the great scenery of the Beach and Salt Marsh. Watch for gulls, eagles, hawks, sand pipers, herons, numerous ducks, loons, and geese, and the many song birds living on the salt marsh. Popularly known as a 'rock...

There is a small picnic park with two tables and out house, the area is sheltered from the wind except a west north west wind, and much warmer then out at the beach . I use the park as a area to get my bike and gear ready for the cape split trail and it is a couple of Km from here to the trail head so it makes for a nice warm up ride before getting into the big climb. There is a rocky beach , the tides goes out the tide comes in the water is deeper...

Great place. Only complaint about it is there should be signs posted on how far up the road the water comes we were parked close to the bridge for my father is disabled and can't walk very far and our car was almost flooded. A more noticable sign should be posted by the picnic area as you come in instead of a small tiny sign stuck to the bridge out of sight that someone put up that isn't very...

Little parking lot, short walk, little bride great view. Tide was out so lots of pebbles to peruse while heading towards the ocean. Sky was clear and there were several couples, family's and pets wandering and sitting. My group spent some time with our feet in the water, listening the sounds of nature at its finest. A must stop and see if you are in Nova Scotia.

If you go at low tide as it just turns to come back in to can walk out to meet the ocean as it comes back in. The water is only ever as high as your thighs for as far out as you can walk pretty much at the deepest and as warm as bath water until it reaches the rocks in its way in. Amazing thing to do. Great view of Cape Split.
