One of the best experiences I've ever had the honour to enjoy. Robin was the most delightful, friendly and welcoming host there was and I came in dirty after the nearby Cape Split hike. Her guests were also kind enough to make a solo traveller feel welcome! The scenery was to die for, you'd think the price would be higher because of the scenery but it was more than reasonable, and the portions were generous. The Seafood Linguini had a lobster claw, three scallops, three shrimps and three mussels! On top of the location, the building itself was very nice, modern materials with big windows with a family homestead feeling. Well done with a very overall cleanliness. On the patio there is also a very large table great for hosting large parties of guests. Parking lot was very large and accommodating, easy to find location. Robin's wine expertise was also great, recommending me my favourite wine of all time! Highly recommend going out of your way at sunset to enjoy.

Arguably THE best view in the entire province. We are so blessed to have this amazing place in our community. The Long Table is the perfect place to enjoy a bite after a day of exploring the beautiful Scot’s Bay beach or nearby Cape Split hiking trail, but more than that, it’s a destination that feeds your soul just as much as your belly. The ‘Cooking With Fire’ nights are an experience not to be missed. Also. The Maple Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e is an absolute JOY! Fresh, local and delicious, don’t hesitate to make the trip to the Long Table and be rewarded with more than a meal. 💞 Patio is DOG friendly & entire place is wheelchair/mobility accessible. Thanks to Robyn and staff including Denise, Ellie, Novelette and the rest of the crew.

I've been wanting to try The Long Table Social Club for a while. I wasn't exactly sure where they are located. I decided to take a drive out to Scot's Bay and voila! there it was. The day was gorgeous, so I sat outside with the million-dollar view. A wonderful menu and I finally decided on the seafood roll with a mix of fresh lobster, crab, and scallop on a croissant. I was not disappointed! I loved the fact that the croissant contained only fresh seafood, no mayo or lettuce. This is my kind of seafood roll! There was a choice of salad or frites. I chose the frites. Good choice. They came with a bit of spicy [not too] on top. The service was excellent and it was hard to leave that beautiful view. Highly recommended!!

About 10 of us came here after a Cape Split hike. Beer was good and the view was even better. I had a scallop burger with “chips” on the side, and other people in our party had The same with the addition of a few different salads and nachos. Everything seemed to be priced rather high. My Scallop Burger had a total of five relatively small scallops and was served on what looked like a grocery store bun. I was expecting bigger scallops and a bun that looked like it kind of squished in the bag. It looked like something I threw together in 10 minutes at home.

As for the “chips” on the side, they were actual potato chips. I’m really not sure why they decided to label them like that. Typically, “chips “on the side of something indicate french fries. This was a first for me.

I was less than impressed with my scallop burger and so were the other people in our party. We did hear good things about the nachos.

All in all, for the six people in my party, it was over $200 for a small lunch including tip. Definitely not more than I expected, considering the food was a bit below average.

It was rather windy at the restaurant. This may have been OK if there weren’t Potato chips flying everywhere! Our server came and asked us how everything was As our potato chips were flying everywhere, but he must have been quite used to that as he didn’t even address it. I made a point of addressing how all of our chips were flying everywhere, hoping he would maybe bring us a bowl so we can recoup some of the loss
He should’ve recognize that considering there was four kids in our party.

All in all, I wasn’t impressed.

Upon reading other reviews I noticed that a few people had mentioned that they were charged for an 18% gratuity on top of being prompted when receiving the debit machine. Perhaps this is why our bill was so high. They basically got a 38% tip. I hope the owner read this review! Check your bills, folks!

just to be clear. Winds could be calmed by installing a fence. Five large scallops would have a very hard time staying on a small store-bought bun. You need to reread my comments again. Nobody informed us that there was an automatic gratuity and it was not clearly marked on our bill. We were a party of six that met up with friends who were a party of four. So about $220 for 6 people

SO disappointing for our one chance to savor this supposed gem. The seafood chowder was AMAZING! The rest of our experience, very disappointing. We made a reservation for two at 7. We’d read such great things about the place, and even though we’d had a late lunch elsewhere we wanted to sample The Long Table. We ordered a sandwich and a cup of chowder. It took over 45 minutes for them to arrive, even though we’d been greeted and had ordered promptly. It was obvious that our experience suffered so that full attention could be given to an 8-top dining outside. The burger was totally ruined, overcooked and had to be redone for takeaway. The wait person was kind but should have not let us wait so long in the first place. We understand that our small order was a fraction of the $$ that the larger party was spending, but we resent taking a back seat in the bus. We did order a dessert (cheesecake) to eat while the burger was being redone, which would have been “comped” under my watch as a manager, but no such luck here. The mocha cheese cake was dry, with not enough of the crema garnished to make it palatable. Not a professional approach to hospitality, at least in my 60+ years of professional customer service and hospitality. Good luck in this place if you are just a party of two on...

Wonderful view, lovely to sit on the patio. Their coffee/specialty coffee was great. I'm sure being so close to cape split having something to drink is nice here, however my negatives outweigh the positives.

It took awhile for our food to arrive and when it did my order was forgotten, not even rung up. Accidents happen I understand that but when everyone else is done by the time you get your food you just don't want to eat anymore. Everyone didn't seem to mind what they had but it wasn't great by valley food standards and the price.

They offered me free dessert but I declined and instead said they'd take it off my food, the reciept showed 3.50 taken off when I was expecting at least half or a free meal as I hardly ate it as the linguine was just drowning in white sauce and rubbery. Not to mention an 18% gratuity is automatically added on to your bill and when you're prompted to pay it asks for a tip again. Our friends almost didn't catch that and would have paid double tip. They should at least mention that gratuity is already added on to your bill.

Wish them the best as they continue to strive to be better as a restaurant but I don't think...
