Davis Bay Beach — Attraction in Sechelt

I recently visited Davis Bay Beach on the Sunshine Coast, and I must say that I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it was. The beach is a stunning stretch of golden sand that's perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and just taking in the incredible views of the ocean.

We walk our dog at Davis Bay Beach every chance we get. There is a nice boardwalk that must be about a kilometer long with access to the rocky, driftwood strewn beach. At low tide large expanses of sand appear- perfect for exploring and playing in the sand. A great sand-castle contest is held here each year. There is a long pier and this is our favorite place to watch great sunsets. A small park borders the river that attracts lots of various sea birds and is a popular place to watch the salmon run in the fall.
