A scenic trail for hiking, bike riding, walking and running! This trail starts at Glenn Burney Rd and continues all the way connecting to James Bay Junction, altogether 13+kilometres. Here you’ll find BIG BOULDERS, very nice lakes, swamps, rivers, wildlife including deer flies and lots of happy mosquitoes that will make your walk turn to running! There’s also a lot of stone benches and very informative signs along the way. The birds are just awesome! Come see.

This trail was beautiful, full of wildflowers and Canadian shield rocks. Ate some blackberries as well! Five to seven minutes later you will come to an opening with a lake on the right and a bog on the left. You can keep going and there are few ppl in between hiking or walking their dogs. Was a very relaxing pretty walk.

Great trail to get some exercise and bring the pooch too! While not technically allowed (when is it?) All us locals walk the dogs leash off as long as they're friendly and won't fight other dogs. I'd guess the trail is about 5km total. Ontario scenery for sure, but watch for ATVs in summer and snowmobiles in winter ;

Beautiful trail! First 6 or 7k ,(starting from Rose Pt Rd) are relatively flat, but a bit bumpy if you are cycling, with larger gravel and rocks (ie not the gravel dust you find on some rail trails). Scenery is fantastic with bridges, rivers, lakes and ponds. Eventually though, the washouts take over and force you around on to rocks, stumps, sand, mud etc. Better for a mountain bike than a hybrid or gravel bike. Still a lot of fun and a great ride! I would...
