This place is an absolute gem. If you can stomach the drive up, the campground here is almost sore tly next to the trail for the falls and in some cases the camps sights actually abut the river. The sights and sounds are pretty worth the trip, and the ability to stay very close to easily followed trails make this place fabulous if your kids love exploring (and they can be trusted not to move off the trails in the wrong or dangerous areas).
The campsites are fairly large and decent secluded, with many offering the opportunity to moor you boat very close to the site itself.
Proximity to Snow Lake makes groceries a simple prospect if needed with meat and fresh(ish) produce and offers a hospital in a reasonable.
Showers on site are coin operated, and there are flush toilets that are in adequate working order.
Asking folks about fishing in the area yielded that (depending on the day and the temperament of the fish) one can easily limit out on walleye in very short order... With a little luck, you may not even need the groceries that are so close at hand.
