May 29, 2021. We keep returning here because it is a wonderful experience to enjoy the flowers, trees and shrubs. I would recommend coming often to see the different stages of flowers, trees and shrubs. The gift shop was open and there is a nice selection of great gift items.

This free botanical garden is amazing. I would recommend coming here for a relaxing stroll through several flower, shrub and tree areas. I knew this was here and have been wanting to visit for a while but I did not know how extensive the park was. It’s well lit and clean. It’s groomed and well taken care of by volunteers. Did I mention it is free. This is definitely a hidden gem in St Albert. Normally there are washroom facilities but this is times of COVID 19 so no washroom facilities available at this time. There are plenty of benches spaced throughout the gardens. Just a really place to visit and relax. We noticed lots of people getting professional photos done here, it’s that good. I believe there is a gift shop here and...

This is my fiancé and I's favorite date spot to come on a Sunday afternoon. When it's warm enough, we probably come every two weeks just to walk around and take pictures. The flowers are constantly changing and growing, so it never gets boring. We stumbled upon it a few years ago when we wanted a date that didn't cost anything and this was the PERFECT place to come.

Every part of these gardens is always well-maintained and the flowers are gorgeous! It's family friendly and there's beautiful paths to walk on. There are different sections through the garden that contain flowers or trees. It is so peaceful. We have recommended this botanical garden to many friends and family and they have all loved it! And an added bonus is that you can walk a bit further and stroll down tona path that leads along the river.

I would highly recommend this to anyone! And if you enjoy taking photos, it's the perfect place! I'm so looking forward to the weather warming up again so I can...

We stumbled upon the botanical gardens by accident during a spontaneous drive to St. Albert from Edmonton. What a find! It has been quite hot lately and it's near the end of the year so I imagine everything would be even brighter during the earlier months, but as it was the gardens were absolutely lovely to walk through and quite a gem to find! We will most definitely be back. We are seniors so we really appreciated the multiple benches dotted throughout the garden so we could sit and rest up, and having all the plants named was a big bonus as well too. Apparently the gazebo is a recent feature. And it looks like there may be more additions coming in the future. Highly recommend this lovely visual and fragrant walk in St Albert! PS: The free parking was much appreciated as well, and the gift shop...
