First time at the museum located in a former Victorian mansion owned by a wealthy ET family. It's now managed by the Stanstead Historical Society.
My companion and I were given a tour of a exhibit featuring early local women groups. A multi-media treat for anyone interested in early ET history. The exhibit on the second floor covers two rooms filled with memorabilia, posters, texts and photographs.
The tour guide was informative and engaging, fully bilingual and personable. A real gem!

They mentioned that they'd be offering High Tea more frequently during the summer months. Treat yourself. It was...

Lots of old pictures and postcards, and all the objects in the house are from the actual family that used to live there. So everything feels homely and you can see how that family lived. I really enjoyed it... Will definitly go back...
