This is a classic B&B experience. Antique furniture, lots of shared space for sitting rooms etc and quiet music and a hushed atmosphere overall. We didn’t get to try the hot tub or sauna but those amenities which are NOT always present at a B&B are accounted for here also.||Our host, Fred, was superlative. Great communications, friendly, easy to work with. The initial automated emails we got prior to check in seemed to be 100% in French which made me worry we might either feel stilted trying to get through our conversations or even a little resented but neither was remotely the case in person.||Probably the thing that was most beyond my expectations was the breakfast. What an absolute feast of beautiful healthy vibrant foods to start the day with. It was really a little overwhelming but in the best way possible. I don’t get very many gently warm croissants back home so that was a real treat but every part of the breakfast was top quality and very generously served.||Possible negatives are minor but here for completeness. I believe all the guest rooms are on the 2nd floor and being a 150+ year old house, the staircase is a little steeper and narrower than a modern commercial staircase would be. The floors in our room were a little squeaky. The parking area gets muddy if it’s wet and the parking spots are best suited for ‘normal’ size cars not pickups and large SUVs. None of these things dampened our experience in any meaningful way but you might...
Read moreWe decided to book at Lee Farm Inn to break up the drive back home to Massachusetts from Québec City and are so happy we did! This B&B truly exceeded our expectations in this small town right at the border.
The Inn is lovely and well appointed and SPOTLESS, yet comfortable. Laura was a gracious hostess who clearly pays close attention to details. Very soft quality linens and towels, beautiful decor, and nice toiletries. It makes you feel very pampered! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for a stay. We also took advantage of the sauna and sitting room while we were here which was very relaxing.
The gourmet breakfast was fresh and delicious- it was hard to pick a favorite but the warm oven croissant was probably my favorite part as well as the fresh sausage.
I would recommend this inn to anyone looking for a little escape, or a quiet place to spend some time.
Thank you Laura, for such a memorable stay (and please give Lola a pat for me, she was just...
Read moreWhile we have stayed at some wonderful B&Bs over the years, Lee Farm Inn is now at the top of our list. This was an exceptional and amazing stay from arrival to departure. We enjoyed a week vacationing and touring the Quebec Eastern Townships.||Hosts, Laura and Fred with help from Georges & Lola, were gracious hosts who provided outstanding service. Their attention to detail is remarkable. This Historic Inn has so much character, decorated for charm and comfort. The beautifully landscaped grounds, include a hot tub and heated pool. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and included a jacuzzi. ||The delicious, eye appealing breakfast included coffee, tea, choice of juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage, cheeses and warmed croissants. Should you find the portions too generous, you are welcome to pack leftovers to take with you. We thoroughly enjoyed the two dinners we ordered prior to our arrival (another wonderful service). We will be back!!...
