Pros: -Fenced-in dog beach. -Waterpark. -Covered seating. -Family friendly. -Restrooms/Change rooms. -eCar charging stations(?). -Boat Launch. Cons: -The beach itself is more pebbles and goose poop than sand. -Busy Road on a blind turn. -Limited parking. -No water fountain(?). -Paltry dog area. -No Concessions. If you're looking for a simple "picnic" spot and have everything you need, it's adequate. If you require anything above and beyond that, you will likely prefer Sun-Oka Beach, which is a 5 minute drive south in Trout Creek.

Love the fenced off leash dog park, we come here almost everyday to exercise and socialize our dogs. Big enough to throw ball and frisbee safely without getting in the way of other dog owners. Great shade and tables to rest and socialize at. Before the dog park was opened, this field was unused and full of nothing but goose droppings and often used by boaters for parking their trailers. Since the dog park the place is active, loved, and enjoyed by many!

FIVE STARS! (Would only let me do a two-star rating.) We -- my husband, dog (Archie) and I, all love this dog park! When my son and his family visit from Victoria, they use this park too! There's enough room for Archie to run like a fiend to catch his ball or frisbee and it's great to connect with new folks and people I know. It's safe, clean, well-maintained and the dog beach is a short distance away to cool off afterwards.

Very tight higgly piggly rundown campground. It looks like no updates have been done since it was built. Surely someone could have slapped some paint on the picnic tables. There is very little open area and you are not allowed to use/play in any unused campsites which is pretty much every corner. The pickle courts are going all day so there is that noise sometimes covered by the lovely running creek that runs through the place. It is situated above a block and a half above a lovely beach and park complex...with rundown washrooms, but ok. We had a smaller trailer... 7x20 and it was a tight space....the bigger rigs had a sliver. The getting in and out very challenging due to the poor condition of the road, narrowness if it, unorganized parking etc. The washrooms were rundown but ok. Showers were $1 for 2 minutes but good shower heads and temperature. That all being said we had a good weekend going to the beach, train etc. The highlight was the eagles nest in the middle of the park. It still had the two older babies in it trying to figure out...
