My visit to Martyrs shrine is very emotional and full of excitement. I am very deeply moved after seeing photos of Lord Jesus, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and Martyrs; tears come down from my eyes. I bow my head with deep gratitude and devotion. This time 2024, with a humble mind bowing head I request help from martyrs regarding a paranormal situation due to which my whole life is affected very badly. Since the start of 2023, an evil psychic vampire woman, who works against ethics deceitfully attached a dark entity in my aura to control me and drain my energy. All the time as I close my eyes, I see an entity with scary teeth. The initial time I was threatened a lot by the entity, I used to see a lot of shadows at night time. this entity was a partner with evil psychic women, I was told that entity would take me to a different world and no one would know about my whereabouts, to harass further I was told not to sleep at night as around 2 kilometers of area is covered with their invisible persons, any time they can come in, as the sunrise, it is safe to sleep. My faith in GOD kept me alive. I was also forbidden to go to Church and temple. If I start writing all, a book can be written. With a humble mind, I request Martyrs and the Lord Jesus for help and Justice. I request GOD please help me now remove all negative entities that have hooked up to me. please strengthen and heal my Aura and help me with future protection. I pray to GOD to return back to sender all curses hex, spells, sorcery did against us, reverse it, and return back to sender fully and...

"This Martyrs' Shrine of Huronia bears witness to the rich heritage that has been handed on to the whole Church. At the same time it is a place of pilgrimage and prayer, a monument to God's blessings in the past, an inspiration as we look to the future..." - Pope John Paul II

Martyrs' Shrine has been a holy and historic place of worship for nearly 100 years and continues a nearly 400 year story of love and discovery with St. Jean de Brébeuf and his companions. There is much to discover and explore, and on this page we can only give you a glimpse into the Shrine's rich history. Martyrs' Shrine is more than just a beautiful old building. It is a place of worship, a place to meet, a sanctuary, a haven, a celebration, a place of joy and occasionally sadness, but most of all it is alive with the people who make the Shrine what it is today.

The Martyrs’ Shrine welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually, was once home to the Canadian Martyrs and has been visited by Saint Pope John Paul II among others. The Shrine is a unique blend of early modern Indigenous-European tradition and discovery that inspired and influenced the formation of Canada as we know it today. We hope that you can join us in person and are here to help you as you learn more about the our holy site.

Every summer my Grandparents would take my sisters and I for holidays on Beausoleil Island in Georgian Bay. The Martyr Shrine was a large white church on a hill that we would pass on the way to Beausoleil Island. We would always want to visit the church so one day our mother decided to take us. We were very young so it was really difficult to climb the many stairs up to the Grand Entrance of this very beautiful Shrine. When I entered I was really surprised at what I found inside. It was nothing like I had imagined. It was a definite learning experience into the history of Canada, Religion, Medicine, Politics and even the Sacrifices of this Great Nation. It was definitely an interesting and unforgettable learning experience that I have always cherished. I have been back a couple of times in my life, my favourite was when I brought my daughter for the first time. She loved it too and enjoyed the visit. There have been many additions to the Shrine since I first visited, but there are still so many adventures to see and learn here. The movie Black Robe was created to show the lives of all of the Martyrs that died that this church...

Remarkably stunning and memorable, the Martyrs Catholic Church Shrine is a testament to the history and religious faith of the Canadian Martyrs. Will leave you astounded at the two reliquaries where preserved bones of the Martyrs lie and surrounding canes, crutches & others ex- votos adorn the area as witness to the healing and graces received. Beautiful and expansive grounds with parking available. On site is visitor information chalet, restaurant with optional outdoor patio and gift shop with religious relics, gorgeous rosaries, holy water and books. Suitable for young children however, access to the shrine is via stairs only and somewhat steep/ lengthy. Admission also includes “Sainte -Marie among the Hurons”, Ontario’s first European community & headquarters for the French Jesuit Mission to the Huron-Wendat people. Amenities on site. Enjoy the walk to the Sainte-Marie among the Huron through the guide footpath or by car ( across the street) with onsite parking. Enjoy a full day of history, gardens, food & exploration of both ensuring lasting memories!

Our family had the blessed opportunity to visit the Martyrs’ Shrine Church, and it was truly a peaceful and spiritual experience. From the moment we entered the grounds, we felt a sense of calm and holiness. The church itself holds deep history — dedicated to the Canadian Martyrs (Jesuit missionaries) who gave their lives spreading the faith. Being in a place with such strong spiritual heritage was humbling, and learning about the relics and their significance made the visit even more meaningful. We were fortunate to attend the Holy Mass during our visit, and afterwards, we received blessings with the relics. Standing there, in the presence of such sacred treasures, felt like being embraced by the grace of God. Spending time in prayer at the feet of Mother Mary was another beautiful highlight. It was a reminder that in her care, we are always safe and loved. it was a heart-touching experience for our whole family — peaceful, faith-strengthening, and unforgettable. We left with renewed hope, joy, and a deeper closeness to God. 🙏
