I am driving across Canada and was not impressed with my experience at one of the Thunder Bay hotels, so did not even go in.. it was so bad. Anyway.. heading out towards Saulte Ste Marie I was desperate to fi d so.ewhere I could "de-moisturize" I saw the turning so turned in on a whim. It was 10.30pm and God bless them, they had the toilet lights on and yes.. they were open. I was so grateful! You have no idea. There were one or two hippie vans there.. everyone dead asleep and it was clean e erywhere I looked.. Thank you!! This very weary traveller's was totally impressed. I had a look around and could see the view across the valley to the lake must have been spectacular.. judging g by the lights...

Beautiful and scenic memorial dedicated to the one and only Terry Fox. The area was clean and very pleasant. Majestic Lake Superior with The Sleeping Giant in the background adds dramatic flair to this special experience. Highly recommended!! The memorial is worthy of Terry Fox and all he did and went through to help find a cure for cancer. Thank you Terry!!
