Read moreBeautiful trail in the fall and winter. The observatory is a great look out point! It's about a 5-10 min walk from the parking lot to the observatory deck. Parking can be challenging to find, it's make shift parking and does get packed by 11am. The trail is not very strenuous. The trail ends at Twyn Rivers and you can cross the street and get onto Orchad or Mast Trail by the other parking lot. I went last week and there was snow but since it's a popular spot the trail is easily walkable. Read moreThis vista trail in Rouge park is on Meadowvale, zoo road. You have to be careful not to miss the first entrance on the right or you’ll be in the line to get into the zoo. The parking lot is a bumpy dirt road. And it free. At the entrance there were 4 volunteers with a table and canopy set up with brochures and maps. The trail is clearly marked. We made to the lookout and it’s a beautiful view. It’s not a difficult trail like the Mast trail. It started raining so we had to leave but we would definitely go back.
