October 21, 2025. The parking is officially closed here for this and maybe next year too! Its undergoing construction of future visitor center. Your vehicle will be towed at your expense. Don't even dare! BUT you can still access the trail by parking here - for free: Pinegrove Park, Glen Rouge Campground or by "Orchard Trail South Trailhead" . And if you want truly mind blowing 360 degree view of Toronto city and fall colors - then go to Beare Hill Park summit. And you will witness the greatest fall miracle in GTA. Sometimes there's no need to go to Dunder, Booth Rock, Track and Tower, or Blue Mountain to see fall colors from...

Beautiful trail in the fall and winter. The observatory is a great look out point! It's about a 5-10 min walk from the parking lot to the observatory deck. Parking can be challenging to find, it's make shift parking and does get packed by 11am. The trail is not very strenuous. The trail ends at Twyn Rivers and you can cross the street and get onto Orchad or Mast Trail by the other parking lot. I went last week and there was snow but since it's a popular spot the trail is easily walkable. Although the parking is packed when I've gone in the morning I've passed by other hikers however it's never crowded. I've gone back 3...

This vista trail in Rouge park is on Meadowvale, zoo road. You have to be careful not to miss the first entrance on the right or you’ll be in the line to get into the zoo. The parking lot is a bumpy dirt road. And it free. At the entrance there were 4 volunteers with a table and canopy set up with brochures and maps. The trail is clearly marked. We made to the lookout and it’s a beautiful view. It’s not a difficult trail like the Mast trail. It started raining so we had to leave but we would definitely go back. When leaving turn left and then take the 401 exit. You’re not on the highway. It’s...
