Great trail for easier hikes. Not much elevation, clear paths. Takes about an hour at a light pace. The falls are scenic, but use caution. The warnings to avoid the water are serious, a child drowned this summer.

Very nice short trail especially when we visited the place the first week of October. Not crowded, with fall colors on a sunny day was the best recipe for a relaxing walk and awesome views.

Beautiful place. Trail ( 3.6 km return) shorts and very easy. At the end of the trail you will have a magnificent view. At the beginning of the trail you will watch amazing bridge.

I hiked to Sturgeon Falls on the afternoon of July 25, 2020. The trail began from the Nutimik Lake campground, along the gravel road leading to the beach. It just under 4 km round trip hike to Sturgeon Falls. It took me 45 minutes for the hike, not including a stop at Sturgeon Falls.

The trail had some ups and downs and followed through forest along a gravel path. The foot bridge was about 500 metres into the hike and it was beautiful! There were amazing views of the Whiteshell River from the bridge. It made for really great photos too. After crossing the bridge, follow the trail to the left (the sign points to Sturgeon Falls). This section of trail travels through peaceful forest and ends at the falls (they were more like rapids). There were large rocks for sitting on and enjoying the views. It was fun to watch people attempting to surf and water ski in the rapids and the views were pretty. The trail follows back along the same path. It was an easy walk with some minor ups and downs.

There were hardly any mosquitoes during midday when it was sunny and no flies. It was a very pleasant walk, aside from the intense humidity and heat. Would...

Nice trail and scenic bridge overlooking the whiteshell river. Very convenient being walking distance to the campground and nearby beach. The Sturgeon falls are more like Sturgeon rapids. We saw a boat navigate through it. It is quite loud with lots of white-water. Neat to see. Swimming in the area is not recommended (but we saw people swim in...

Beginners trail, short in length, and well groomed. Nice views at the suspension bridge and the falls. Great for hikes where you want to take the whole family. Not the best parking accommodations (you have to park on the side of the road near the trail entrance, since there is no parking lot at...
